Part of your job is keeping track of employees’ performance, but you’re not the only one who should be doing that. Employees who track their own performance can see their improvement and document it more effectively, and they will generally be more motivated to keep getting better at their jobs. Work with each employee to develop some simple metrics they can monitor themselves, and they’ll feel more empowered and responsible for their own development.
